Hello,

after using broadband ADSL for some timeI re-connect with dialup modem
but some websites or applications do not wirk properly. How can this
be. A software for ADSL changed something with the MTU values in winXP.
What are the right ones fpr 56k modem?`

MTU & Rwin settings for broadband are not optimal for using a v90 modem.

An MTU of 576 is about right for a modem.

If u search google I am sure you can get an explanation. You might also like to
try these sites which I find useful but I cannot remember if they have any
specific on MTU values:-

If I remember correctly www.regedit.com has information about how to change your
MTU settings.
